Here is my last product line review, from my recent Big Haul on Carol's Daughter site. I'm completely in love with all her products. They actually work and perform the way it is advertised. Which is a BIG plus to any consumer. Especially, us curly haired girls. I have no regrets going all out and spending my hard earned coins. I have these products for awhile to ensure I had ample time to try them out and see how they would fit into my lifestyle and hair regimen. My hair goal this year was to find products that become staples and have healthier hair. Lisa's Elixir does just that. It helps you get to the root of the problem. This line focuses on the health of your hair from the follicles, the scalp and the entire hair strand. A real detox for your hair!!!
I know this can look ludicrous having all these products, but there is structure in this. Look at it this way. You have to balance your hair between strength and moisture anyway. So what I have done was go out and venture out of my comfort zone. I wanted to find a brand that not only was faithful in its ingredients but also performance. That way I can keep up with them as the years go by. Normally, you will just switch up your treatments and conditioners for your weekly needs. I took it a step further. Due to the fact that, Carol's Daughter provided such a dynamic duo in their cleansers and conditioners!!!
1. Lisa's Hair Elixir Clarifying Shampoo $20 8.5 fl oz
First step of this detox is, cleansing. This shampoo is the TRUTH! The reason I stopped relaxing was because of the bad reactions on my scalp. It would get itchy all the time even though my hair was just washed, flaking and irritated. The soars were not pleasant either. Nothing worked until I read the reviews and noticed that I wasn't the only one with this problem. I have tried everything under the sun. Once I started with this shampoo, it really converted me! My scalp is blister free. With continual use all my issues has be resolved from the first application! It feels so soothing on the scalp. It leaves my hair clean but not stripped. It gets rids of my flakes, which weren't dandruff by the way. My scalp is clear and buildup free. I use this twice a month usually on my moisture weeks in my regimen. Since it contains Biotin, Rosemary, and Eucalyptus. I have seen some extra growth in my hair. Winning all day with this and we are only at the shampoo!

2. Lisa's Hair Elixir 7-in-1 Complete Conditioner $22 8.5 oz
Second step of detoxing is, conditioning. Even with the minty ingredients in this conditioner. It still detangles your locs like no other. Again the tingling sensation is so relaxing and refreshing. It is very hot and humid in Florida so this makes me feel cooler throughout the day and a few days after wash day. This contains Omegas 6 and 9 to get that growth spurt that I see and enjoy. I only have one negative mark though. This conditioner is so thick and creamy that it is hard to come out the twist nozzle. It really isn't a big deal. I just remove the whole head and get the product out that way. If that bothers you, transfer it to a jar. (Can be purchased at your local beauty supply store.) Besides that, I cannot say enough great things about this conditioner. It continues to give me the hair I knew I had. She is soft, bouncy and fluffy. The fluffiness is controlled not wild and crazy like a tornado took you or something.

3. Lisa's Hair Elixir Fortifying Scalp Spray $22 4.25 fl oz
Last step is, the scalp spray. This stuff takes the cake!!! Really it does. You would use this prior to shampooing your hair. Just part your hair, spray, and repeat. Once you have dispersed it around your whole head including your hairline. Massage it in and rinse. Girrrrrlllll!!! This stuff stops everything in its tracks. For my divas that love protective styling really need to buy this. ASAP! I can't stand to see you pounding your darn head to death in public. It ain't cute baby. Use this for spot treating those sporadic itchy areas. Your brain will thank me later. I even use this when my scalp gets too overwhelmed by salt residue. I am a gym-goer so this stays in my gym bag. I spray, massage and follow with a moisturizer for the rest of the hair.
Carol's Daughter truly has won me over with their products! Not only has my scalp seen better days but my hair looks and feels healthier. I lucked out to give in and try awesome items that DELIVERED!!! I will continue to use these products and most likely add a few more to my collection. For example, the Lisa's Elixir Restoring Hair Oil is definitely on my wish list! It is back in stock just in case anyone was wondering. Please, leave one for me. That is all I am asking of you. I ain't greedy. Optimizing the health of your hair equals to less bad days. Even if you had a long week at work. Or pushed yourself too hard in the gym.
